I've had a sidebar for years called U GOTTA WATCH THIS I haven't updated it for a couple of years -- i.e. I'm recommending SPLIT and we've already seen SPLIT II last year.
Since WordPress hijacked my optioneerjm blog because I hadn't renewed the domain, I simply couldn't afford to, I've come to realize how much I like blogging on Google's Blogspot. It IS where I put my energy into for the most a lot in the past.
When my optioneerJM blogspot evolved from sales to leadership the numbers showed that the audience was evolving into social media articles and responding accordingly.
When I was trying to blog all under one umbrella at optioneerjm on WordPress, I got comments to the effect that readers were concerned with my well being all over the map.
The more I take on, the more I exorcise what needs to be exhausted.
MeanderingsABOUT was just after optioneerJM because sometimes I wanted to write about being a mother to four Millennial kids. Besides blogging and social media being a hobby, I'd had a love affair with demographics and numbers since the 1980s when I went into magazine advertising and was guided to understanding how number silo'd into demographics can predict the likelihood of participating in, liking, or part of the tribe.
Now I've already realized I've neglected this blog. I apologize.
Yet I see the need is there to just blog about whatever is on my mind or what I'm dealing with. Whether you're one of my daughters' drunk friends or someone who is in the battle of their 50s, I've appreciated the loyalty.
I will write a bit more about what I have found enjoyable to watch or read and then post on the side bar. In other words, get a little more organized.
Eventually, I will get sponsorship by adding images that are really links to websites or social media sites for compensation. An alternative to third party ca-ching services that carve off a piece of the pie. Skip the middle man.
I've never had income or received services or product of any kind. I hope that will change.
I will be transparent if that happens. It will be more of a celebration of the smartness of planting your seeds in the right place will harvest.
For example, Tiffany's no less.
Class, quality and good taste.
A fashionista fighting her fifties ... until the bitter end.
Surviving breast cancer, helping her afflicted spouse, the love of her life.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU BINGE WATCH the Good Girls to catch up before the new season starts in February:
Good Girls |
The series follows three suburban Michigan mothers, two of whom are sisters, who are having a hard time trying to make ends meet. They are tired of having everything taken away from them so they decide to pull off an unlikely heist by robbing a supermarket, only to discover that they're in for more than they bargained. Their successful robbery attracts the attention of the store manager after he recognizes one of the women, but for a different reason altogether than just the money.
