A most inspired campaign gone VIRAL

This is THE best viral campaign that didn't cost even a nickel to create.  It is a beautiful showcase of all what is right about the layout, the images, peppered words, with a strong #socialmedia push .... it is very inspiring and really demonstrates what having all those key ingredients going for it ... plummeted with a witty idea that caught the net, IoT, social media, viral or whatchamacallit!

BEST VIRAL campaign of all time!  Only in Canada you say eh?

You can't be more inspired than this!  What I like the most is that it wasn't some "unINTENTIONAL" advertising magic trick that got everyone jumping aboard the train to share:  #RT LIKE TUMBLE instaGRAM PIN or you name it.

I can only relate by the fact that as a Blogger emerges within you, it crosses over pretty much into anything that you're watching, thinking about, or setting aside with skepticism :: you start thinking about a post or campaign :: because it is fitting :: in your mind, what you wanna say :: or just catch or start a fire.

I can imagine that any emerging Blogger dreams of what they say catching on fire, resonating, being so believable or relatable, they just want to share, or accompany it with their own thought.

When you think about it :: you don't have to leave home, fly somewhere, relocate, interview or apply :: you are just swept up and carried away but an audience that eventually evolves into fans.

If you are skeptical :: then you may as stop reading now because I am not a skeptical person.  I am of the "anything is possible" school of thought.  I can't be bothered to waste a breath on anything that has been tweaked, photo shopped, choreographed too hard.

Why? Because I sensed that someone was going to get the formula and get it right.  It is sure a lot harder to do than to take a video and uploaded it to YouTube where accidents happen to get people's attention.

People are working harder these days while earning less and striving to maintain optimism, reach out for motivation, laugh at funny :: or of those combined.  Truly, a difficult feat.

Cape Breton if Trump is escape at its finest.  An elegant presentation, with calming visuals, spiced but satorical humor!

Hurrah, Bravo, yipee haHOO!  Someone, a singular individual, just pulled off any predicessors that were created by a room full of think tankers (today's version of Mad Men)  tossing around ideas, while searching and surfing through their laptops or tablets.

PLAY PICK OUT THE GUY WHO'S LATE  Hint:: he's trying to follow along with his smart phone.  He's feeling blessed with its high definition screen, larger than average, newly released and he is likely much younger by many in the room. The techno phobs can be identified by the spiral notebooks, the old fashioned way you'd go to meetings, to school or craft your "to do" list.

Get caught up by wandering through this marvelous and innovative site.  An inspiration to Bloggers evolving as writers alike.

All joking and viral hits aside, this is an absolutely menu of delightful sights you will ever see online, even rarer because it was created by one individual, not an expensive army of creatives disguised as snobs.

A self-described knowledge junkie :: it appeals to those who greatest desire is to gather more intelligence than

the average being.  Creating a sensation!

p.s.  It means the world to me that you actually took the time to read  .... This is the kind of support any gal would love, which I adore and so appreciate .... I love writing and even a quiet like is more than I could hope for ... thank YOU. Of course, more subscribers or a comment would indicate its appeal ... but as this webpage would show, that it has cluttered itself with viral likes, comments, etc. I admire that because it is wisdom unfolding, with its teaching, that you don't have to look like you have a lot of comments or clutter to take off into viral superstardom.

An #OscarsMakeover event

Oscars magic is on again.  The hoopla, ceremonies and after parties (which I would add to my bucket list, except the rule is it has to be realistic), the fashion, styles, fashion 9-1-1 that it brings.

Me, along with millions in audience joined to celebrate the #bestofeverything in MOVIES' biggest question it asks me of this night?

"What movie will it entice me to see first?"

Rapt with anticipation millions in I began surfing on the net ::: long before social media platforms and media stand were beginning to stand ready ::: I discovered that minuscule morsel that would begin to react in mere minutes...

A hashtag to be noted to give praise and honor not only the winners, but the nominated for their talent.

Charlize Theron ::: best theatrical makeover for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD

The biggest makeover  of years before  ::: not a person but a symbol ::: of movies, excite-ment, media buzz, or dresses.   Floating out to the net was the best story I found from The Daily Mail  was that the infamous statue had a makeover for this year (2016)!!

We peruse and wonder who hasn't won yet? Right, Leonardo Dicaprio hasn't.  Will he finally be restituted to the kingdom of the gifted for a generation?  Hardly, it's a snap for him this year in his portrayal in Re-something filmed outside a Canadian city that blasts fumes from the money from its oil billions to only ruin the environment?  Uh-hem, he became an expert by just experiencing our unique Chinook mild weather miracle in our parts called Calgary.

What are Chinook winds you asked dear Leonardo?  Why they are a weather phenomena unique to our climate near the greatest city on the earth:  Calgary.  I bet you didn't know that the warm west winds we all adore, written by our own Calgary Herald at the turn of the last century:

“Those who have not the warm, invigorating Chinook winds of this country, cannot well comprehend what a blessing they are. The icy clutch of winter is lessened, the earth throws off its winding sheet of snow. Humanity ventures forth to inhale the balmy spring like air. Animated nature rejoices.” (1900–Calgary weekly Herald)

Sidetracked as usual I am to return to the drool of glamor and stunning dresses.  I began my journey, with thoughts erupting in my head, and spoke to me:

“Na-uh honey, thatz pose ta be only da one shouldr”            ~Andra Day

“fly-e-EYE-iiiiiiiiiii like a bird …..”                                      ~Cate Blanchette

“No, you’re right … I wasn’t sure what look I was going for.”      ~Olivia Wilde

So far my favorite gown is: pulled adorned from her makeup, to her hair to beautifully fitting gown ::: Sophia Vergara :::  proving that a woman in my mind's age can shine over those 20 years her junior:

Sophia is 43 years old! GASP!   We should all celebrate how wonderful she looks!!

Here's leading up to the last moments before

@LeoDiCaprio could no longer say he hadn't

won an #Oscar

The movies I would most like to see after watch-

ing the Oscars:::

1) The Reverent

2) The Big Short

3) The Girl in the River ::: a documentary

Best Oscar moment ::: Musical perfor-mance by Lady Gaga:

Best Oscar acceptance ::: Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy:

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy stands out as a Humanitarian

What an outstanding #Oscar acceptance  by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s  for "The Girl in the River"

Earlier in 2012, Chinoy had won the Oscar for her documentary film ‘Saving Face’ that focused on Pakistan’s another grim issue of disfiguring of the faces of girls and women by men on various pretexts by throwing acid at them.
‘A Girl In The RiverThe Price Of Forgiveness’ was among five films which were nominated for this year's Academy Award in the BestDocumentary-Short Subject category.
On February 22, Sharmeen’s Oscar nominated documentary was screened at a programme held at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad. On the occasion, Premier Nawaz Sharif had said thegovernment is set to formulate legislation to put a curb on thekillings of women in the name of honour.
Sharmeed Obaid Chinoy holds a rare distinction of being among the nine women film directors in the world to have won Oscars for non-fiction films.

Biggest Oscar erruption ::: when Sam Smith upsets Lady Gaga

Sam Smith's Writing's on the Wall is the first behind a long list of talent to be finaly named for its first Oscar.  I wrote about this song a few months ago for how wonderful I found it when I wrote about it on my blog Meanderings called; called:

Best movies watched before Oscar night ::: Before I even cared about winners in order of favorites:

1) Straight outta Compton which I had watched, thought incredible, and wrote about long before the Oscar's white out controversy.  You couldn't fail to notice whatever was missing in nominations were presented in FULL COLOR by presenters from past winners like Whooppee Goldberg, Denzel Washington, Quincy Jones.

2) Amy:::  a documentary about Amy MillHouse, shed light on not just her musical talent, but also her challenges, showing she was snuffed out to wayyyy toooo early.

3) Spotlight:::  about investigative journalism and the men and women who dedicate themselves, regardless how earth shaking and controversial it may be, need to be told for the victims.  If for nothing else in the world.

Cuteness reigned and knocked out several adorable Imagineered characters, of the likes of  The Room's Jacob Trembley:

Guest mischievious The Minions were there

Will Jason Tremblay avoid the traps of so many former child stars?
Become a sad second acts having trouble as grown ups
.

Music feeds the soul

Music eliminates loneliness, heals a sad soul, gives power and strength to those who escape to its inner sanctum of reflection.  The words are poetry in harmony with musical notes.  Artistry to the ears as a painting is to the eyes.

Have a listen as you read on:

What a wonderful musical duet with Susan Boyle and her idol Elaine Paige.  What is magical is that I know more about Susan Boyle's transfor-mation from her first idol audition that astounded both the audience and judges greatly.

Dream a dream:  to be a professional singer.  I had loved this song for a long time, since I heard it from Les Miserables production in Calgary in the 1990s.

I can't say I heard the audition first hand because in Canada we didn't have Got Talent UK on the air waves.  But certainly, most of us, can recall the outstanding reaction that it gave to the world.  Played across all medias.

The lesson taught ::: Didn't this all teach us that looks are not necessarily an indication of talent?  It should have.  Watch the second video first then the one with her heroine Elaine Paige on the second. This performance taught us that dreams CAN come true ::: whatever the age, wherever one is nestled.

If you would like, you can watch The Susan Boyle Story on YouTube (60 minutes in length):

Susan Boyle was bullied, made fun of, and was considered slow.  She considered herself lonely, especially after her mother passed away.

A wallflower to be sure.   At the ripe age of 47, she became an inspiration and synonymous with courage :::  who would try to reach their dreams when most have ironed out their retirement path?

Even today, when I listen to the audition, I get chills.  When I'm in the mood to absorb music completely, tears will drip from the corner of my eyes.

To many, she championed that it doesn't matter how old you are or how small a village you hail from, you can reach your dreams.

She knew instinctively and honestly how people perceived her, yet her love of music :: shown magically by her own custom song:  "When I was a child".  Now that she had reached her true destiny, she is at peace.  Complete in her true gift.  The world in her hands ::: her turn to fly.

She may not have known the answers, she recognized when she felt free when she was who she was born to be.

The greatest glory in living

                                         lies in never falling,
but in rising every time we fall. "

I listen to music when I'm sad, happy, social, and reflective.  It feeds my soul.  Most songs are musical tones applied to poetry.

Back in my 20s when I broke up with a boy I liked, I would search song after song about break up, broken hearts then move on to rebirth, strength and power:  from the emotionally symbolic to transforming rock and roll that became the emblem of recovery.

As unlikely a superstar there has ever been.  It makes me wonder:  what is my unfulfilled dream?  Writing full time, people who follow my blog, not to cause popularity but because words can help and heal wounds.  Do I have that ability?

Time will tell.  After all, I'm soon to be a "10".  Do you know what that means?  Those born in the 1960s probably do:  it was a movie from the 1980s with Dudley Moore and his love interest Bo Derek, highly considered the equivalent of a "10" how we'd be rated on looks.

Once I turn 55 in April, I will finallybecome a member of the "10" club :::  5+5=10!  Minus the beaded braids.  Been there, scratched that, during tropical vacations where rum-filled coconut I shed all responsibility of being a daughter, wife, mom or careerialist

I constantly look forward and reach out to live the dream ::: be my destiny.  Accompanied by music to cheer me on and feed my soul.  Or set me straight and calm me down.

Today's (Sunday February 28, 2016) top lyrics and song (copied from Metro Lyrics ) with video link from YouTube:

Rihanna featuring Drake
